I wish everyone in the country a happy year with their horses. 2017 was a sad year for the horse industry not growth. In particular it was a year of further damage to the operators of horse racing courses across the country due to some kind of incidents such as Choi Soon-sil‘s manipulation of state affairs which made the public aware of the bad image of the horse racing sector and Jeong Yu-ra‘s special treatment for horse racing. In addition it was a disappointing and regrettable year for professional horse manufacturers and horse breeding farmers. Historically the year of martial arts is a year when eventful events are completed and combined. It is said that it is a year when soil and soil meet and harmonize with large soil like Mount Mu （戊） and alcohol （戌） and it is a ‘golden year‘!! It is a auspicious year. The year 2017 was the Year of the Red Chicken. Perhaps that‘s why there were heated candlelight vigils and major changes in the country. Unfortunately at the center of the news the horse industry among other things appeared to be carrying bad images of horse riding every day. An incident caused tremendous damage to the entire horse industry which forced many people including myself who ran the actual horse racing course to overcome very difficult times. The first comprehensive plan for the horse industry came as an unforeseen moment for the Korean horse industry which was growing rapidly but in some ways I think it provided an opportunity to publicize the unfamiliar area of the ‘horse‘ to the public. Of course it has created a very bad image to be successful through noise marketing so it will take great effort and time to recover. The horse industry is steadily growing in developed countries. It is changing from an industrial structure that was concentrated in the horse racing industry | |||
