Even if I started right away I thought I was a latecomer so I was interested in horses that were not widely spread at the time. So I majored in horse behavior in graduate school. By chance I learned the field of rehabilitation horseback riding through an outpatient professor and at first I started out as a volunteer but moved to a rural area where I worked so I moved to an independent company and joined the rehabilitation horse riding. Rehabilitation horseback riding includes therapeutic horseback riding and disabled horseback riding. Currently both fields are in their infancy. Both the manpower and infrastructure are absolutely insufficient. There are too few horse riders compared to the total population and the situation still needs to be much bigger. In order to ride a rehabilitation horse a certificate is essential. However that is not enough.
